Job Description
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and goals, ensuring alignment with physician direction. You will be responsible for the delegation and direction of therapy services, focusing on functional treatment programs to facilitate effective community reintegration. This position includes serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and staff. Upholding safety standards and compliance with organizational conduct is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Document all care activities clearly and accurately, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Participate in student training programs by providing mentoring and evaluations.
- Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and other growth opportunities.
- Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
Required Experience
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proof of active licensure for the state of Colorado.
Certifications / Licensure
- Valid Colorado Physical Therapy License.
