Schedule / Shift
3 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekend shifts (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule. Shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit specializing in Neuro Med/Surg. The unit consists of 20 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. You will play a critical role in providing attentive and compassionate care to our patients and their families, engaging them in their plan of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and families.
- Conduct bedside shift reports and build personal connections with patients.
- Utilize medical technology and equipment including IV pumps and telemetry systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience
- Med/Surg experience is required.
- Ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively.
- Experience with IV starts, basic wound care, and management of surgical drains.
Certifications / Licensure
- Must have an active RN license.
- BLS certification is required.
