This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (Tele RN) will deliver comprehensive and quality patient care to patients of all ages using the nursing process. This role requires specific educational requirements and competencies related to cardiac patient care. The Telemetry RN will be responsible for monitoring patients and may be required to float to Med-Surg and remote Tele units.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a telemetry unit.
Monitor cardiac patients and respond to their needs effectively.
Assist in floating to Med-Surg and remote Tele areas as needed.

Required Experience

A minimum of 1-2 years of Telemetry/Stepdown nursing experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification is required.
