ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Med/Surg (Day Shift) in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 with weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend hours are as needed, every third weekend.

Job Description

The role involves providing quality care in a 167-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. You will be working with a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 years and older). The primary focus will be on post-operative care including joints, bariatric, and general trauma patients in a Med/Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care while ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for effective patient management.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech EHR system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license to work in Tennessee.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH.
