Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will work in a high-volume, fast-paced IR setting, assisting with various interventional procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires strong skills in procedural sedation, central line management, and the use of specialized IR equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist with central line insertion and management.
Monitor patients during procedural sedation.
Administer blood products and emergency medications as needed.
Perform and assist in various interventional radiology procedures.
Participate in call shifts and holidays as scheduled based on department needs.

Required Experience

2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Strong clinical skills in critical care nursing.

Certifications/Licensure

Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
BLS and ACLS required.
NIHSS and CPI preferred.
