ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Bricktown, New Jersey.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with every other weekend and holiday coverage required (2 winter and either Christmas Eve or Black Friday).
Job Description
The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurses (RNs) are vital in providing urgent care to patients in emergency situations, addressing both physical and mental health needs across all age groups. ED RNs must be skilled in assessing patients quickly and prioritizing care based on urgency. They will handle a range of trauma situations and will provide specialized and innovative nursing services within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients with acute and critical conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in alignment with established protocols.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel regarding patient care and treatment options.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment.
- ED experience within the last six months.
- Demonstrated clinical performance and practice.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Four trauma CEUs.
