Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, providing education and support, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding the birthing process and care after delivery.
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Respond to emergencies and manage complications as they arise.
Required Experience
Must have prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing with a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Current EFM certification is required.
- Completion of a Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and background checks will be required upon onboarding.
