Job Description
The Women Services unit at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team. This unit features 10 labor delivery recovery (LDR) beds, 2 operating rooms (OR), and 2 triage beds. The team is energetic and ready to support new members as they care for labor and delivery patients along with postpartum couplet care.
The documentation system used is Expanse, and the monitoring equipment includes HillRom and GE systems.
Responsibilities
- Care for labor and delivery patients, providing comprehensive nursing care.
- Assist in postpartum couplet care.
- Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections.
- Participate in triage as needed, according to unit demands.
Required Experience
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid nursing license.
- NRP certification.
- AWHONN certification.
- FM certification.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
