Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will perform ultrasound procedures with a focus on maternal-fetal care. This role includes patient assessments, detailed imaging, and collaboration with the maternal-fetal medicine team. The technologist will utilize the Epic charting system in a community hospital setting while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound scans for pregnant patients, including first, second, and third trimesters.
- Conduct fetal anatomical surveys and fetal echocardiograms.
- Document procedures accurately within the Epic charting system.
- Provide high-quality images and assist physicians with interpretations.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of prior ultrasound experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARDMS certification in OB/GYN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARDMS certifications such as FE and NT are preferred.
