Night shifts available, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The Telemetry Unit requires RNs to provide care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring. This role involves both the proper Tele unit and the Observation Unit, necessitating strong telemetry-level care experience. The position will include responsibilities typical for telemetry nursing in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data, responding to alarms and alerts.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.
Document patient information and care using the Epic charting system.
Float to telemetry as needed, depending on staff requirements.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Telemetry experience is preferred.
Must possess a Florida or compact RN license.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.

Certifications/Licensure

Florida or compact RN license in hand.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
NIHSS certification required.
