Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will care for patients in various departments, including ICU, ER, and Nursery. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, participating in resuscitation teams, and providing mechanical ventilation for pediatric patients. The role requires familiarity with Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, and EPIC documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for patients in ICU, ER, and Nursery settings.
• Administer mechanical ventilation and perform intubation, especially for pediatric patients.
• Attend high-risk C-sections and participate in resuscitation efforts.
• Utilize Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators effectively.
• Document patient information accurately using the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on ICU and ER.
• Experience working with pediatric patients in emergency situations.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
