Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Progressive Care Unit and may float between five designated hospitals based on staffing needs. Responsibilities include patient management and care for PCU patients who have been downgraded from ICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage PCU patients.
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (not requiring titration).
• Perform blood product administration and central/peripheral line care.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams when necessary.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU with a strong cardiac background.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required.
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
