06:45 AM - 07:15 PM, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process, aligned with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care, while also supervising and directing the patient care team to meet care priorities based on available staff competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and planning for patient safety.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate tasks and provide direction to other care staff.
• Handle patient care priorities effectively based on staff capabilities.

Required Experience

• Must possess vent/trach experience.
• Knowledge of central lines required.
• Preferred wound care experience.
• Valid Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
