Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services, designing functional treatment programs to facilitate a return to community activities, and serving as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans focused on discharging patients within an established length of stay.
• Document medical records clearly and accurately within required timeframes.
• Participate in the student program, providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in self-initiated professional development activities and continue education efforts.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active applicable license for the state where work will be performed.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• CPR certification required.
