Day Shift: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic radiologic examinations, assist physicians with radiologic procedures, prepare examinations for radiologist interpretation, and maintain radiation safety protocols. This role includes the transport and positioning of patients and requires collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure the best patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document diagnostic radiographic examinations based on provider orders.
• Communicate effectively with patients and provide care coordination during examinations.
• Analyze radiographic images for quality control and prepare them for radiologist interpretation.
• Operate radiographic equipment and facility-based computer systems.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media according to protocol under physician direction.
• Assist physicians with special procedures involving radiography.
• Engage in quality assurance activities related to radiographic care.

Required Experience

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required. Previous staff radiographer experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Maintain state licensure requirements for Ohio.
• Annual CPR certification required.
• When Seconds Count certification preferred.
