ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Scheduled for 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekday and weekend call rotation and holiday call rotation as needed.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be part of a dynamic surgical team. The unit has 9 operating suites, a procedure room, and a hybrid room, handling an average of 35-45 cases daily, providing care for a wide variety of surgical specialties including general, ENT, orthopedic, and vascular cases. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotics, specifically Davinci and Rosa systems, and proficiency in using the EPIC charting system.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist in scrubbing surgical cases and circulating as needed.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgeries and ensure all necessary equipment is available.
- Maintain clear communication with surgical teams and other healthcare staff.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Required Experience
2-3 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty, along with 2-3 previous travel assignments. Must have orthopedic experience and experience passing robotic arms in and out during procedures.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
