ARMStaffing is looking for an MRI Technologist in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position offers a consistent 8 days on, 6 days off rotation, averaging 40 hours per week. Shift details are as follows:

• Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (8 hours)
• Thursday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8 hours)
• Sunday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10 hours)
• Monday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM (6 hours)

Work every other weekend with call coverage approximately once per month.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient safety. This position requires interacting with patients of all age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and utilizing the Cerner charting system. The Technologist will work in a team setting and support interdisciplinary functions within the Radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Cerner system.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings related to patient care.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Certification in ARRT MR and BLSS is required.
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT MRI certification required.
• Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania must be active at the time of submission.
