Schedule/Shift
The schedule is 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, varying as needed. This position requires working 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Special Procedures/IR will provide care in a procedural setting, working closely with a team to ensure quality patient outcomes. The role emphasizes safety, patient education, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Administer care to patients during interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a procedural care nursing specialty is required.
Certifications/Licensure
Required certifications include AHA BLS and ACLS.
