ARMStaffing is looking for an MRI Technologist in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position offers a consistent 8 days on, 6 days off rotation, averaging 40 hours per week (80 hours per two-week pay period). Shift details include:

• Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (8 hours)
• Thursday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8 hours)
• Sunday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10 hours)
• Monday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (12 hours)
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM (6 hours)

Work every other weekend. Call is approximately once per month with weekday call coverage through 9:00 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols.

The position involves working with a variety of patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Technologists will utilize the Cerner charting system and will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Radiology and Rapid Response Teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Administer contrast media as needed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Process and archive imaging data using Cerner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is required.
• Charge experience and patient ratio experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR).
• Flu vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions accepted.
