Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

2nd and 3rd shifts available, with weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7 AM to 7 PM. On-call requirements involve working from Friday at 5:30 PM to Monday at 7 AM every 4th weekend.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at Duke Lifepoint Hospital, where you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. The hospital is a Joint Commission Accredited facility, offering a variety of services including cancer care, cardiac care, and surgical services. Your expertise in CT technology will be essential in delivering high-quality imaging outcomes within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist with quality control measures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation.
• Document patient information and procedural data using Meditech EHR.

Required Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

Certifications/Licensure

• CT registered certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in IV insertion and 3D post-processing preferred.
