Job Description
The Inpatient Hold Unit at HCA Houston Northwest is a 14-bed unit dedicated to telemetry care with a focus on providing high-quality nursing care. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and utilize advanced cardiac monitors, vital sign machines, and IV pumps to deliver exceptional patient care. The unit employs Meditech Expanse for electronic medical record documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Assist in IV insertion, lab draws, and Foley catheter insertion.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Experience
- Experience in a trauma facility is a plus.
- Must have a valid RN license.
Certifications/Licensure
- Required: BLS
- Preferred: ACLS, Acute Care, ICU experience
