12-hour Day shifts from 7A to 7P with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Job Description
The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. This position involves monitoring patients, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring effective patient care plans are in place.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with medical staff and families in care discussions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Required Experience
Must have prior experience in a CVICU setting.
Certifications/Licensure
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
