Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in the Obstetrics unit. This position entails working with expectant mothers, monitoring fetal health, and providing post-partum care to mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after childbirth.
- Administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Educate and support patients and families on childbirth and postnatal care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in the Obstetrics unit.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NRP certification preferred.
