Rotating Day/Mids Shift: 3x12 hours (07:00-19:30 / 09:00-21:30), including every other weekend and holidays as required.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, working within a supportive environment alongside interdisciplinary teams. The position involves floating within the specialty and departments requiring portable x-ray imaging, ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray procedures on various body parts, including abdomen, chest, extremities, and spine.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
- Utilize PACS for image management and documentation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to determine imaging requirements for patient care.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions when necessary.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience with bedside/portable procedures is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current MD state license.
- ARRT certification (R).
- BLS certification required.
