Job Summary and Qualifications

Transports patients of all age ranges, supplies, and equipment throughout the entire  hospital using carts, wheelchairs, and beds. Generally assists technologists/nurses in moving patients to exam tables and ensures communication forms are filled out completely by all staff. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Performs a variety of clerical activities. Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment.

Position Requirements: 

•  Current BLS required from AHA or ARC. 
•  Prefer some hospital or clinical experience.  
• Involves general guidance and direction by radiology leadership. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
