Description
Position: Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Morristown, NJ
Pay Rate: $ 80/hr
Schedule: 7:30 PM - 7 AM
Duties:
-Assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures as indicated.
-Able to scrub in diagnostic, cardiac interventional and peripheral procedures.
-Cares for adult and geriatric patients during procedures. Prepares patients for examinations. Functions in all roles: as a case recorder, cardiac circulator and scrub assistant.
-Reports clinical changes in patient condition to the RN or physician.
-May perform point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
-.Maintian all standards of performance with sterile procedures and infection prevention.
-Accepting both travel or Local candidate.
Requirements:
-Demonstrated expertise in CVT technical skill, knowledge of catheters, wires, stent and supplies.
-Minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist preferred with diagnostic and cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures.
-Must be able to take STEMI on call
-Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
Education:
-Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology
-RCIS preferred.
-BLS required and ACLS certification preferred
