Job Summary:
Conduct routine laboratory procedures on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples. Analyze
test results to determine the presence, absence, or cause of disease. Maintain laboratory equipment to
ensure accurate and timely reporting of findings. Function as an educator as necessary

Job Responsibilities:
-Perform a variety of routine laboratory tests using automated and manual methods, including
hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology.
- Operate laboratory instruments and equipment, calibrating and troubleshooting as needed to maintain
accuracy and reliability of test results.
-Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures to ensure the validity
and precision of laboratory tests
- Analyze test results, interpret findings, and accurately report results to healthcare providers in a timely
manner.
-Document laboratory data and observations, maintaining accurate records of test procedures, results,
and quality control measures.
-Notify appropriate personnel of critical or abnormal test results requiring immediate attention or follow?up.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including proficiency testing, internal audits, and performance
improvement initiatives to maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
-Monitor laboratory supplies and reagents, perform inventory checks, and assist with procurement to
ensure adequate stock levels and efficient use of resources.
-Follow safety protocols and infection control practices
