Location: Christiana Hospital – Newark, DE
Contract Length: 13 or 21 Weeks
Start Date: 12/22/2025
Shift: Nights – 3×12s (36 hrs/week)

 

Unit Details

• Unit: Emergency Nursing

• Beds: 82 treatment spaces hallway overflow

• Patient Ratio: 1:4–1:5

• Charting: Cerner

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

• Special Procedures: Moderate sedation, trauma support, splints, traction

• Float Requirement: Yes—within similar acuity areas
  
  
   

  Requirements

• Active DE or Compact RN License (must be in hand at submission).

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience – no exceptions.

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (with valid expiration dates).

• Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 12-hour Nights

• Hours: 36 hours/week

• Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW)

• Holiday Requirement: Yes – per facility policy

• Call Requirement: None

•  

• Must complete Voice Advantage Interview Nurse Manager Interview.

• RTO Policy: Only one holiday request allowed (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day) max 3–5 additional days.

• All RTO must be submitted upfront—no changes accepted afterward.

• Submission must include: RN license #/exp date, cert list, full SSN, DOB, and address.
