Job Title: RN - Endo
Speciality: Endoscopy / GI Lab
Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 8 hour shifts, M-F, including ON CALL for after hours, weekends and holidays

Must be able to function independently in all areas of Endoscopy, including advanced endoscopy procedures of EUS, ERCP, as well as pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and EBUS. Expertise in bariatric procedures and ION Robot is preferred.

Special requirements, skills, certifications, etc.:
Endoscopy RN #1, fully competent in all endoscopic procedures, including advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS, as well as Pulmonary procedures such as EBUS and Robotics. Must also demonstrate Ochsner's Mission and values, always putting patients first, and function and behave as a full time Ochsner employee would."

Education
Required - Registered nurse diploma.
Preferred - associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.

Certifications
Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Duties
