Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU/PCU
Location: Cape May Courthouse, NJ
Department: ICU (with potential float to PCU based on census)
Shift: Nights, Every Other Week (EOW)
Hours: 36 hours per week

We are urgently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our ICU team at facility. This role involves providing high-acuity care in the ICU, with the possibility of floating to the PCU depending on patient census and unit needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing complex medical equipment.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide support and education to patients and families.
• Float to PCU as needed to maintain staffing levels and patient care standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and protocols.

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent PCU/ICU RN experience required. Must have demonstrated proficiency in both ICU and PCU settings.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and respond to emergencies.

• Schedule Details: 36 hours of night shifts every other week (EOW). Flexibility to float to PCU if census changes.
• Experience Requirement: Must have PCU and ICU experience.
