Description

Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry I / IMC / Med-Surg

Location: Alamogordo, NM
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Unit / Patient Population

Medical, Surgical, and Respiratory patients
Floating may be required to: Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, Joint, Emergency Department

Schedule Requirements

Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week period
Call Requirement: 2 call shifts per 6-week period
Float Requirement: As needed

Job Summary

The Travel RN practices independently in the same or similar clinical setting and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. Provides routine and complex care with the ability to plan for long-range goals. Manages contingencies effectively, makes appropriate assignments, and delegates tasks to other care providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Experience

Minimum: 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in NM or compact
BLS Certification (AHA only) – Required
ACLS Certification (AHA only) – Required
