Job Description:
Unit: Post Partum
Charge Capability: Highly Preferred
Scrub Color: Any
Must work every other major holiday.
The Post Partum Unit consists of 14 private rooms with a level 1b Continuing Care nursery. This unit provides care for mothers and infants through the early stages of postpartum to discharge. We foster a culturally sensitive approach to couplet care and early family bonding.
Submission Requirements:
Up to date resume that includes at least 3-5 year(s) of Nurse Manager experience in Postpartum. Also, documenting travel experience; first time travelers will not be considered. Acute care experience is required.
3-5 years of clinical experience in a Continuing Care Nursery, Special Care Nursery (SCN), or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) required
2 recent Post Partum Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references.
Current AHA BLS & NRP certifications are required at time of submission.
Minimum two years progressive management experience
Specialty certification required or obtained within one year of appointment.
Skills Checklist matching specialty.
Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics.
Flu vaccine required during season.
NURSYS verification report pulled within the last week showing ACTIVE MA RN license; must show ALL licenses (past or present).
RTO must be included at time of submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
EMR Experience Preferred: EPIC
