Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA
Location: Cranston RI
Shift: 8hr, EVE, 3:00pm - 11:30pm (weekend hours will be required as scheduled)
Position is 40 hours per week.
Start Date: 3/9/2026

Interviews will take place Wednesday, 2/11/2026, 30-minutes online, scheduled between 10am - 1pm

Experience working with mentally ill patients is strongly preferred. Physical strength is a significant factor with this position - must be physically fit, and unafraid/able to quickly intervene or de-escalate any situation.

CNA duties are as normal (see job description attached). Ideal candidate would have significant experience with de-escalation techniques in difficult populations. Training or schooling to work with behavioral children, DD, acute psychiatric patients highly favored.

Insufficient experience includes only work in: Nursing Homes, Rehab facilities, hospitals/facilities where the candidate has only "floated " in/out of a psych unit, or other typical medical (non-psych) facility experience.

Experience from Butler Hospital, any Psychiatric Unit at an acute care hospital (worked primarily on psychiatric unit – not just floating), experience as a Security officer in any of these types of settings or other hospital settings.
