• Level 2 Trauma Designation
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center

Department Information:

• Census? Average patients/day? Varies
• Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Acute Care Lab Analysis

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

• MT/MLT/MLS - must have credentialing through ASCP, AMT or AAB (only one of these)

Skills required:

• Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology

Support within the Department:

• Peers
• Department Leadership

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• Department specific Equipment: Beaker

Floating:

• none

Orientation (facility and unit):

• NEO
• Departmental Orientation varies based on experience

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: every other
• No call
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO: Manager approval
