Job Overview

Position: Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Location: Alexandria, LA
Facility: CHRISTUS Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Shift Length: 8 hours

⏰ Call & Weekend Requirements

On-call: Required during weekdays and weekends
Weekend shifts: Possible due to call coverage

🎓 Education

Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

🩺 Experience

Preferred: At least 1 year of CVOR or related specialty experience

📜 Required Licenses & Certifications

You must have:

RN License in Louisiana or a Compact State License
BLS certification from American Heart Association
ACLS certification from American Heart Association

💡 Skills Needed

Strong operating room experience
Ability to work independently
Critical thinking and clinical decision-making
Good communication and patient education skills
