JOB DESCRIPTION
Physical Therapist - Pediatric
● About Facility:
▪ Outpatient Cleveland: located in the Dover YMCA, hospital-based clinic
● General Info:
o Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year for all. Peds experience preferred for Peds PT
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Pediatric PT: Ortho, developmental delay, equipment needs for peds and adults
● Required Licensure & Certifications:
o BLS, State licensure
o PT: Masters or DPT accepted
● Skill Requirements:
o Pediatric PT: experience treating developmental delay, orthopedic conditions, assessing for appropriate equipment needs
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
● Floating: If yes, where?
o May float between Cleveland and Kings Mountain
● Orientation (facility and unit):
o Onboarding to department 4-5 days
● Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: no weekends for Outpatient setting
o Holiday Expectations: All Holidays unless agreed upon RTO for acute care contracts
o RTO: Approved by leader
o Shift times: (4) 9-hour shifts M-Th and 4 hours Friday
● Other notes:
o Scrub Color: Light Gray
o Parking: Free
