2. Registered Radiologic Technologist, with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology.
3. BLS certification.
PREFERRED:
1. Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures.
2. Prior experience in catheterization

Operates angiographic and imaging equipment to assist physicians during cardiovascular and interventional radiologic procedures. Provides technical and procedural support to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of departmental Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Adheres to all hospital and departmental safety policies; promptly reports equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or incidents.
- Collects and reviews patient medical information to determine the purpose of the procedure and identify contraindications.
- Prepares procedure rooms and sterile fields; sets up trays, supplies, and instruments using sterile technique.
- Educates patients on procedures and addresses questions or concerns.
- Initiates intravenous access, prepares and positions patients, and assists physicians with guidewire and catheter placement.
- Administers intravenous contrast media and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
- Operates angiographic and imaging equipment to support visualization during procedures.
- Adjusts equipment settings to optimize imaging quality and procedural outcomes.
- Performs charge entry, basic equipment maintenance, and assists with staff orientation and training.
- Complies with Interdisciplinary Policy F-028 (Unit-Based Automatic Drug Dispensing Cabinets).
- Participates in on-call rotation as required.
- Participates in ongoing professional development and departmental initiatives as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Current CPR certification.
- Training or experience in vascular, coronary angiography, and interventional procedures.
- Prior catheterization lab experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and professional materials.
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation as needed.
- Basic mathematical proficiency.
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
- Ability to solve practical problems in a clinical environment with variable conditions.
- Demonstrates professionalism.
- Communicates respectfully and effectively.
- Responds promptly to patient and team needs.
