● General Information
o Beds: 1 Holding Room (fits 2 pts); 2 IR Suites
o Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience? 2 Year
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon review
● Patient Types:
o Line placements, drains, guided biopsies, vascular work, carotid stents, angiograms, AAA repair
● Patient Ratios:
o 1:1
● Required Certifications:
o RN: BLS, ACLS
o Tech: BLS, ARRT
● Skills required
o RN: transport inpatient/handoff, meds for sedations, pre/post recoveries, circulate, D/C follow up calls, schedule/coordinate orders
o Techs: product orders, stocking, organize reps, tray setup, in room care, scrub
● Support Available:
o IR Aid/Transporter
o Charge RN/Lead Tech
o Management
o Respiratory Therapy
o Hospitalists
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o IV pumps: Alaris
o Medication dispensing: Pyxis
o Monitors:
● Floating: If yes, where?
o None
● Orientation: (facility and unit)
o NEO
o At least 1 shift to learn the flow
● Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: every 6th weekend
o On call? Yes
▪ One weeknight call shift per week, 1 weekend every 6th weekend
▪ 30-min response time
▪ 1 tech 1 RN on callback
o Holiday Expectations: call only
o Approval of time off: To go through manager
o Shift times: Flexible start of 0700, 0730, or 0800
