Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
📍 Atlanta, GA 30303
📅 Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Night Shift
⏰ Schedule: 36 Hours per Week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) with a strong cardiac patient population.

Unit Details

Unit Size: 28-bed PCU/IMCU
Patient Ratio: 1:3–4
Patient Population: Cardiac-focused

Common Diagnoses / Cases

STEMI
NSTEMI
Chest Pain (C/P)
Post-Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS)

Clinical Skills Required

Management of cardiac drips, including:
- Milrinone
- Dobutamine
- Vasopressors

Additional Information

Nurses may also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 2 years of PCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- PCU experience must be clearly documented in work history.

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
