Level III NICU
Level III Maternity
Primary Stroke Center
Comprehensive Stroke Center
Beds: 167
Covid vaccine required
General Information
Beds: 36
Experience: 3 years
First-time traveler: Upon review

Patient Types:

Multi specialty ICU - High acuity Neuro/post Cardiovascular surgery/medical/surgical/trauma ICU. CRRT
No pediatrics/burns/transplants.
Special competencies are required for post Cardiovascular recoveries, CRRT and neuro patients so contract staff may not be assigned to this population.

Patient Ratios:

Required Certifications:

RN: BLS, ACLS NIHSS

Skills required:

trachs, vents, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, procedural recoveries, temporary pacemakers.

Support on the Unit:

CNA – 1:12
Charge nurse does not take an assignment
Centralized tele monitoring with a tech
Bedside monitoring
24 hour Intensivist coverage on unit
Mid-level coverage.
Full time ICU educator
CV coordinator
