Description

Position Overview

Title: RN – Cath Lab
Location: 316 Calhoun Street, Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC 29401, US
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Call Requirements: To be discussed during the interview; may include floating to cover Cath/EP and possibly TEE/CVs. Scrubbing for procedures may qualify for a bonus.
Pay: $3k weekly gross

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Professional nursing theory and practice.
Organizational policies, safety precautions, and quality care initiatives.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.

Licensure & Certification

Registered Nurse (RN) in South Carolina or a recognized NCSBN Compact State.
ACLS (required)
BLS (required)
NRP (for WIC service RN, within 6 months of hire)

Education

Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing (Required)
Associate's Degree minimum (Required)
BSN highly desired

Specialized Skills

Cardiac care experience required.
Experience in Cath Lab, patient care, and as a registered nurse preferred.
