Position Description:
20 week assignment. Locals only !!!! This is an 6 hour day shift need - 12H/week. Will be scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays weekly.

Addiction recovery Psych RNs at Transitional Support Services (TSS) facilities provide 24/7 nursing care, bridging the gap between detox and community living. They monitor physical/mental health, manage medications (including MAT), conduct psycho-educational groups, and assist with case management, relapse prevention, and daily living skills.
Clinical Monitoring & Care: RNs monitor patients for post-acute withdrawal symptoms, manage co-occurring mental health disorders, and assess overall health stability. Medication Management: This includes overseeing self-administered medications, providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) (e.g., buprenorphine, naltrexone), and conducting overdose prevention training.
Supportive Education & Counseling: RNs lead psycho-educational groups, teach relapse prevention strategies, and educate on addiction, recovery, and healthy life skills. Case Management & Coordination: They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (counselors, physicians) to develop individualized treatment plans, assist with aftercare planning, and facilitate referrals to outpatient services.
Structure & Safety: They ensure a safe, structured environment, often conducting drug testing and ensuring compliance with program.

Must be separated from any BILH affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered. IN PERSON INTERVIEW REQUIRED.
