Job Title-Songrapher
Location-Grafton, WI
Shift- Variable Shift Thursday 12pm-12am, Friday and Saturday 3rd shift 6pm-630am.
This is a weekend position with staffing 3rd shift every Friday and Saturday night.

 About Facility:
o Level III Trauma Center
o Level II NICU
o Primary Stroke Center
o Beds: 167

General Information:
o Imaging Rooms: 4 total - 2 in department, 1 in ED, 1 in Breast Imaging
o Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
o Department is staffed 24/7
o If working the overnight shift, traveler will be the only US Tech

Patient Types:
o Inpatient/outpatient
o Adults, very few peds
o OB, pelvic exams, vascular, ABIs, reflux studies, venous insufficiencies with mapping, carotids, small parts,
o Experience not required: MSK - musculoskeletal exams of small bones and injections with radiologist, neonatal heads, prostate/breasts

Patients seen in a shift:
o 8-10 patients

Required Licensure and Certifications:
o BLS, ARDMS
o If working overnight shift, candidate MUST have OB Cert as well

Skills required:
o Experience with above patient types, except the non-required ones
o EPIC experience preferred

Support on the Unit:
o Respiratory Therapy: 24/7
o Hospitalist: 24/7
o Other US techs during the day, but solo on nights
o Management
o Lead Tech

Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC - preferred
o PACS: McKesson
o Equipment used?
▪ Client machines – experience not required

Floating: If yes, where?  Will do portables on the floor
Orientation: 1 week of orientation with preceptor

Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: 1 weekend per contract
▪ Check job listing: if this is for an every weekend job, then will work every weekend
o On call? No
o Holiday Expectations: On call 1 holiday per contract
o Approved of RTO: we can approve 7 days off
o Shift times: Varied shift times, refer to job posting
▪ Could be Day, Mids, or Nights
▪ Could be 8, 9, or 10-hour shifts
▪ If working overnights or weekends, then these will be 12h shifts
o Schedule cycle: Lead Tech makes the schedules weeks in advance; will receive a few weeks prior to schedule starting
▪ May or may not be able to accommodate block scheduling
