Department Information:
o Average patients/day: 60
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 3 years for all positions
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Common Specialty/Case Types:
o Orthopedics, Plastics, DaVinci Robotics, ENT, General, Uro-Gyn, Sports Med
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o OR RN: BLS; CNOR (preferred)
Skills required:
o OR RN: EPIC experience, Comfortability and experience in the following cases: Ortho, Robotics – Davinci, Sports Med, ENT, Plastics, General and Urology
Support within the Department:
o Charge RN
o Peer RNs
o CNA
o CRNA
o Surgeons
o APPs
Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
Floating: If yes, where?
o No
Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 1 day departmental
Scheduling:
o No weekends
o No call
o No holidays
o RTO: Manager approval
o Shift times:
OR RN: 0630-5PM 4 days a week with late days
o Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
