Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist to support a Sleep Disorders Center. The technologist will perform and monitor sleep studies, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety throughout testing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in polysomnography
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current certification or registration as one of the following:
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients for sleep studies
• Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment
• Monitor sleep studies and identify abnormalities, respiratory events, and sleep patterns
• Document findings in accordance with established policies
• Maintain clear and effective written and verbal communication

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep physiology, and study interpretation
• At least 1 year of hands-on sleep study experience
