Job Title: Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology
Location: Trenton, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Details: 10hr Day Shift (40 hours/week) – 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 4x10s | No weekends, no call, no holidays
Job Summary
The Electrophysiology (EP) Registered Nurse provides specialized cardiac care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. This role involves patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring during procedures, and pre- and post-procedure care in a fast-paced EP lab setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies
- Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures
- Support cardiac mapping and pacing procedures
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and education
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists and multidisciplinary teams
Patient Population & Procedures
- Adult cardiac patients
- Electrophysiology studies, cardiac mapping, ablations, and pacing procedures
- Cath Lab or IR experience accepted
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License (NJ) – Required
- Minimum 2 years of EP RN experience – Required
- BLS and ACLS Certifications – Required
- Flu vaccination – Required (no exemptions)
Skills Required
- Cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
- Experience in EP lab procedures
- Medication administration and IV management
- Pre/post-procedure patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- EMR: Cerner
Scheduling Details
- 4x10 hour day shifts
- No on-call requirements
- No weekend requirements
- No holiday requirements
