Location: Trenton, NJ

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details: 10hr Day Shift (40 hours/week) – 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 4x10s | No weekends, no call, no holidays

Job Summary

The Electrophysiology (EP) Registered Nurse provides specialized cardiac care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. This role involves patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring during procedures, and pre- and post-procedure care in a fast-paced EP lab setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures
• Support cardiac mapping and pacing procedures
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and education
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists and multidisciplinary teams

Patient Population & Procedures

• Adult cardiac patients
• Electrophysiology studies, cardiac mapping, ablations, and pacing procedures
• Cath Lab or IR experience accepted

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (NJ) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of EP RN experience – Required
• BLS and ACLS Certifications – Required
• Flu vaccination – Required (no exemptions)

Skills Required

• Cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
• Experience in EP lab procedures
• Medication administration and IV management
• Pre/post-procedure patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• EMR: Cerner

Scheduling Details

• 4x10 hour day shifts
• No on-call requirements
