Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Northside Hospital Gwinnett Outpatient Center
2200 Medical Center Blvd
Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Department: 6604V OP Surgery GDS
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Shift Type: 3x12-hour day shifts (36 hours/week)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic outpatient surgery team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Assist surgical teams during procedures
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room (OR)
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Additional Information:
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
