Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (5x8 shifts)

Important Note:
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates).

Position Overview

The Surgical Technologist supports surgical procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting specializing in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. This role is responsible for maintaining a sterile field, preparing surgical instruments, and assisting the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures
• Set up operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and available
• Perform surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments) in accordance with policy
• Handle specimens according to established protocols
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the perioperative process
