Job Title: Medical Technologist (Blood Bank)
Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4 shifts/week, 10 hours each (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) Nights
Total Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to join a clinical laboratory team specializing in blood bank services. The role involves performing specimen testing, analysis, and ensuring accurate and timely results in a fast-paced lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis in the blood bank
- Handle and process specimens with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards
- Maintain quality control and documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in the relevant specialty (Blood Bank)
- Required certification: ASCP/NCA/AMT/AAB/HHS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical lab setting
Important Notes:
- Only Medical Technologists or Medical Laboratory Scientists will be considered
- Medical Laboratory Technicians are not eligible for this role
- Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
