Part Time - 3 shifts week
Dietary Aides for the Trenton campus (RMC)
The kitchen operates 7 days a week from 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Flexibility is required, and rotating weekend coverage is mandatory. Our goal is to ensure coverage across all 7 days
Requirements:
Prior food service experience strongly preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Open availability and flexibility
High school diploma or equivalent required
No licenses or certifications required
Flu Vaccince is mandatory no exceptions
Uniform Policy:
All black scrubs required
Absolutely no jeans, sweats, or hoodies
Essential Functions:
Prepare setup lists for the assembly line using menus and production sheets.
Submit stock sheets to the storeroom for fulfillment and delivery.
Gather correct food items and quantities for patient tray line, Meals on Wheels, and other tray services.
Include special request items for meal service.
Accurately place beverages and identify special orders on the tray line.
Assist with Meals on Wheels tray line setup and provide additional support as needed.
Follow proper portion sizes per production sheets and compare expected yield to actual servings.
Ensure correct food items are placed on trays according to patient selections.
Use proper utensils to maintain portion control.
Properly store leftover food items (cover, label, and date).
Clean tray line, steam tables, food warmers, refrigerators, and floors using approved products and procedures.
Follow HACCP guidelines, including documenting proper food temperatures in log books.
